A dose of momentum for your dream is coming next week!

It’s happening next week, Reader!

The networking call that beats ALL networking calls (because it’s waaay more than a virtual exchange of business cards).

Join me on Wednesday, 5/29, at 10:30 am PDT / 1:30 pm EDT and bring your 1-minute introduction to share verbally so you can get some thoughtful feedback from fellow dreamers. They’ll also be testing the waters with their words, which means it’s one of the least intimidating environments to share and clarify your message.

Every time I host one of these calls there’s a flurry of connections that happen at the end and everyone says, “That went way too fast!”

We’ve discovered the most encouraging, supportive, and Jesus-loving community on the Internet and it’s full of women who are ditching their comfort zones, trusting God to calm their nervous hearts, and boldly taking the next step into a God-shaped dream.

Even if all that amounts to is a simple conversation with a group of encouraging women, it's STILL a step!

Plus, dreams are way more fun with FRIENDS! Won’t you join us? Sign up here.

If you’ve been getting my emails for a while (you know who you are 😉😉) and you’ve never said “yes” to participate in one of our LIVE Devoted Dreamers events, what’s stopping you this time?!

The other day I was talking to a fellow dreamer inside my Dream Believers community and something she said stood out to me:

“I had to get to the place where I believe I am the right person for this, that this [dream] is unique to me.
Little by little … the Lord showed me that I have unique things that I can bring. …God has gifted me specifically to do what I’m doing and that’s different from everybody else that’s doing it. It’s unique and it’s what God has given me to do.”

Did you notice what she said? "I had to get to a place..."

That's a reminder of the journey it is to pursue a dream. Most of us don't wake up one day and just start. It's a process. And that process starts by learning to talk about your dream.

So if your dream feels fuzzy, undefined, and a bit uncomfortable, trust me, that’s normal.

It should feel that way at the beginning. It hasn’t come to fruition yet, and it’s going to take some trial and error for it to begin to take shape.

(Have you heard my podcast episode with Julie who thought her dream was to own a taco truck? It took one trial-and-error event of making tacos for her friends in order to realize that this was not exactly what she wanted to spend her time and her gifts on. Turns out gathering people is what inspires her, not the making of tacos…though I’m sure they were really good tacos!) 🌮

All that to say, I’m seeing some patterns come to light -- a ROADMAP FOR DREAMERS -- and I’m boldly going to say that…

👉 if you have a big dream,

👉 if you’ve been waiting for a sign to start,

👉 if you’re tired of not knowing what direction to go,

The NEXT STEP for you is to come to one of our calls.

Don't wait. THIS IS YOUR SIGN!

Come and talk it out with a few friends (sure, they’ll be strangers at the beginning but friends by the end). See where the words feel sticky or clunky coming out of your mouth. Take a second chance to say them again. (You’ll like it better the second time around, I’m sure of it!)

And then keep up the conversation with fellow dreamers between our calls.

It’s the ONE INGREDIENT that has the GREATEST IMPACT on the pace at which women are able to tackle the challenges that come with having a big dream.

You may also want to check out this week’s podcast episode (#306): How to Discover and Develop Your Good Gifts from God.

I’m talking about:

🎁 How to identify your God-given gifts,

📝 Practical advice for using those gifts as it relates to your dream, and

❤️ Understanding why your gifts matter.

See you on Wednesday?

With you,

~Merritt
