Megan’s Story: She didn’t expect her dream to feel this way

Reader,

Imagine what it would be like to wake up every morning excited to discover what God has for you and your dream today.

To know exactly what you’re building with Him and to feel grateful that you’re no longer carrying the weight of it alone.

With the momentum, clarity, and women beside you who remind you you’re not crazy for wanting this.

That’s the shift Megan experienced when she stepped into Dream Believers. And she eagerly told me about it because she knows she’s not the only one who needs this.

As November reminds us to turn our hearts toward gratitude, I’m celebrating some beautiful client wins and giving you a backstage look at what can happen when encouragement, accountability, faith, and action come together.

In case you missed the other stories in this series, you can find Michelle’s story, “What it Looks Like When You Say Yes,” here and Terri’s story, “From Unsure to Confident,” here.

Now, let’s get back to Megan…

When she first started chasing her dream of starting a podcast for Christian moms, she didn’t expect it to feel so heavy. Sure, it was exciting, but it was also lonely, confusing, and harder to carry than she imagined.

She found herself hungry for relationships with other women in the thick of working on their dreams. To know she wasn’t the only one struggling or battling the voice of the enemy. Figuring out what questions to ask and how to answer them…all on her own.

She longed for guidance from someone a few steps ahead who could walk her through it.

When she showed up at her first Dream Believers Mastermind call, something shifted. She connected with women who understood the highs and lows of building something with God. She experienced coaching that felt uplifting rather than pushy. And she found language, tools, and truth that helped her rise out of the lies she had been wrestling with.

Today she has clarity for next steps.

She wakes up excited again.

And her ideas feel light instead of burdensome.

Her podcast is now in the top five percent of all podcasts.

And she no longer feels isolated. Her dream has a home. She has people who get it, a spiritual armor, community, and momentum.

Megan’s story is a reminder that your dream does not have to be a solo adventure. The clarity and momentum you seek actually come when you stop trying to carry the whole thing alone.

Can you picture what this could look like for you?

If you’re craving a community that lifts you up, speaks truth over the lies, and helps you take meaningful steps on your dream, you’re invited to join us at the next Dreamer Mastermind Call on Dec. 10th. It’s free to attend. Just show up for the support and encouragement you need for your dream.

And if you want to cheer Megan on, you can find her Only Love Today podcast on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.

Next week’s final Dreams in Bloom feature will pull back the curtain on my own journey and the small yeses God has used to shape this dream of mine. I pray it gives you hope for your own story and what God could do with your faithful next steps.

With you,
~Merritt

P.S. If Megan’s story made you think, “I need that now,” you’re welcome to join Dream Believers today. You don’t have to wait to feel the relief, clarity, or companionship she talked about. It can start now!
