This is what it looks like when you say yes to your dream

Reader,

Can you imagine waking up each day with a deep sense of peace and purpose?

Knowing your work matters, not because it’s perfect, but because it’s aligned with what God has called you to do.

Pausing throughout the day to celebrate what He is doing in and through you.

Overflowing with gratitude as you see your gifts and talents being used for His good purposes in the world.

Because you’re creating beauty, connection, and encouragement that ripples into the lives of others.

As the month of November turns our hearts toward gratitude, it’s the perfect time to celebrate some big wins from my clients.

These are fellow dreamers—women just like you: mothers, grandmothers, solopreneurs, and creatives with a heart for Jesus—who have devoted consistent time, effort, and prayer to listening to the Lord and partnering with Him to bring their dreams to life.

I’m calling this new series Dreams in Bloom.

I pray you receive these stories as a personal invitation into the courage and hope of what could be possible when you say “yes” to your God-shaped dream.

We’ll kick things off with my fellow creative, friend, and client Michelle Acker.

Michelle recently launched Everyday Altars Fine Art Print Club.

It’s still in the beta phase, but once you get a glimpse of it, you’ll be lining up early for this one. (It launches next month, so get your name on the waitlist today!) It’ll change the flow and energy of your morning routine…for the better!

Here’s how she describes it:

…an uprising of calm and beauty,
...a quiet rebellion against cycles of burnout, depletion, and despair.
…a gentle guide for building a soft, sacred life.

An invitation to “soulful stillness and sacred beauty...”

Delivered right to your mailbox each month.

But what’s not front and center when you visit her website or witness the beauty of her watercolor painting is the backstory:

The hard and holy work it took to get here.

A few years ago, Michelle was paralyzed by self-doubt and an internal pressure to figure out what her dream should look like.

It had to be beautiful…and PERFECT.

She wrestled with imposter syndrome, starting and abandoning projects, caught in a shame cycle that made it hard to believe God could use her at all.

But today, as she launches the Everyday Altars Fine Art Print Club, she describes this work as “ease and delight”—no striving, no fear of what others might think, no shame cycle.

Just the peace of knowing she and God built this together.

So how did she get here?

Michelle says it was a combination of:

  • Finding solutions to imposter syndrome inside Dreamers Unleashed and applying what she learned,
  • Working with a counselor to find healing for her heart and mind,
  • Showing up weekly to The Dreamer Lab to keep the dream in motion,
  • Setting quarterly goals and breaking them into doable steps, and
  • Pursuing it all in community with others chasing their own God-shaped dreams.

That last one was the kicker. She says:

“There is not a chance that I would have been able to do that on my own; I’m not that consistent without community.”

What I love most is that Michelle’s dream began much like yours: a quiet whisper, a little secret between her and the Lord, waiting to be unveiled.

She felt a nudge to share her creative gifts and a longing to help women connect with God in the ordinary moments of life. The dream took many forms over the years, and today it’s here for us to see and touch and marvel at…the result of a journey that was never meant to be a straight line.

Can you picture what the dream could look like for you?

Maybe it’s:

...women gathering around your table, or

...your words on a page encouraging a weary soul, or

...simple rhythms of work and rest that bring joy back into your life.

A dream is not something that comes through hustle; it’s born by living in sync with what God made you for and walking closely with Him every step of the way.

It starts small.

One “yes” at a time.

Revealing the unique, redemptive hope He’s planted in you.

It will bloom in its time.

In His time.

Is God stirring something in you?

If so, take heart. You were never meant to do this alone. There’s guidance and people ready to walk with you.

Need that kind of support for your next step? Join Michelle and the other dreamers inside Dream Believers, my community for women pursuing their God-shaped dreams with courage and faith.

Come for a test drive by attending my free Dreamer Mastermind Call, happening next week.

P.S. It’s easy to see someone else’s finished dream and wonder if you could ever get there. But your dream—and your design—are one of a kind. You’ll never see how it unfolds until you take the next step. Not sure what that is? Let’s talk it through. Grab a spot on my calendar here.
